Who I am
Sertac Tekin is a licensed insurance advisor regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario (FSRA) under licence #10112782 — verifiable in the public registry at fsrao.ca. As an independent advisor, I'm contracted with more than ten major Canadian insurers, including Manulife, Canada Life, TuGo, RBC Life, Desjardins, iA Financial, BMO Life, Empire Life, 21st Century and TrustStone Health — which means my job is to compare, not to push one company's product.
What I specialize in
Most of my week is spent helping families protect visiting parents and grandparents: Super Visa insurance that meets IRCC requirements, and visitor to Canada insurance — including the tricky cases with pre-existing conditions where policy wording matters most. I also help with travel insurance, individual health and dental plans, life and critical illness insurance, group benefits for small businesses, and RESP/RRSP savings plans.
